Coleman Powermate Generator
Coleman Powermate portable generators meet the highest standards, whether you need to power a construction site, prepare for outage or just enhance your camping adventure. Before choosing a Coleman Powermate, you better consider your needs, such as wattage consumption, frequent or short run-time usage, tank size and outlets.
Coleman Powermate portable generators fall under one of three categories: Contractor, Home Backup and Recreational. Powermate model name is made of prefix and adjacent six digits. Most of them start with PM, and some start with PC to indicate the model is CSA (Canadian Standards Association) certified. The following six digits imply other specifics. Most important and helpful are the last four digits. Those, when rounded up or down, indicate the wattage capacity of the Coleman Powermate device. For instance, PM0101207 is a portable generator, providing 1200 watt.
Coleman Powermate generator series includes the following models, grouped within the three categories:
Contractor – commercial line, producing up to 12,500 watts.
PM0601250: the most powerful device generates up to 12,500 running watts, equipped with electric start gas engine with low-oil shutdown. The gas tank capacity is 8 gallons and it comes with fuel gauge. The generator can run up to 6 hours at 50% load.
PM0497000: this portable generator achieves 7000 running watts. Its 389cc gas engine can only be manually started. Also include 8 gallons fuel tank with a fuel gauge to provide up to 10 hours run time at 50% load.
PM0418000: up to 8000 running watts with electric start gas engine. It has the same gas tank specifics as previous model. The control panel reveals four 120V outlets, one 120/240V twist lock outlet, and circuit breaker protection.
PC0496753: another 7000 running watts generator but with Canadian Standards Association compliant (note the PC prefix of the model name). Other than that, it has the same specification as the PM0497000.

PM0676800 and PM0676801: both generate up to 6800 watts, include 8 gallons gas tank with fuel gauge and can run 12 hours at 50% load. They are only distinguished by the starter; the 6800 model is equipped with electric start engine while the 6801 model has a manual start engine.
PM0435001 and PC0435001: running at 5000 watts with 6 gallons fuel tank, these models can run up to 11 hours at 50% load. The control panel has two 120V outlets, one 120/240V twist lock outlet, and circuit breaker protection. The PC0435001 is CSA (Canadian Standards Association) compliant.
PM0675700: this 5700 watts portable generator is installed with overhead valve engine, providing improved fuel efficiency. It was designed for long lasting and less maintenance. Its 6.5 gallons fuel tank will enable 10 hours of run time at 50% load.
PM0435006: same specification as the PM0435001, except that it has an electric start engine.
PM0106507: in its compact roll cage design, dual folding handles, and never-flat wheels, this portable generator can be easily mobilized and stored. It can generate 6500 watts and keeps running for 9 hours at 50% load. It also includes battery hour meter and additional 12V DC outlet.
Recreational – designed for outdoor activities, 1200 or 3000 watts.
PM0103007: this generator will provide all needs for enhanced camping experience. Running at 3000 watts with 4 gallons fuel tank, this generator can last for 11 hours at 50% load. The control panel contains 120/240V and 12V DC outlets. The compact roll cage with never-flat wheels and the dual folding handles will easily deal with harsh terrain.
PM0103002: ideal for campers, this light 2 gallons generator can provide 2 hours run-time. It has two 120V outlets and one 12V DC outlet. It is also extra protected with cast iron sleeve over the engine.
PM0101207: the smallest generator of the recreational line, this unit featured a 1200 watts gas engine with 1.3 gallons fuel tank. It can keep running for up to 9.5 hours at 50% load. In its roll case design, it also includes one 120V and one 12V DC outlets.
